If not on Ebay find them at your local CAT dealer. Once in awhile they will turn up for sale here. From what I have ordered a lot of it is Williams some of it has been stamped Snap On and I have a set of punches that are CAT branded Mayhews.

You can buy them directly from Caterpillar dealers. Majority of them are just re badged industrial brands such as snap on, williams and the like.

I have some family in Cat country, you pretty much trip over them there. I have a number of odd cat branded items from ratcheting screwdrivers to dial indicators. Mostly from retired Cat field service guys.

Unless you have a Cat dealer that you like to work with, or just enjoy the Cat label, I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase them at full cost.

I've got a lot of Cat tools in my box at work since I work for a CAT dealer. I can have just about anything by the next day so it's good for that, plus I can warranty my tools through the dealership.

Williams/Snap On mostly, air tools look to be IR (nothing earth shattering, mainly the older stuff).

Here's a link to the PDF catalog.

Punch in the part number of the tool here and get a price.

I have a few rebranded snap on sockets. I get a parts delivery everyday from cat so it's a lot easier than a so truck.

I also have ordered a few CAT badged Snap-on tools from my local CAT dealer. They have a tool catalog that I got from the dealer. Folks were very easy to work with. CAT has an amazing parts distribution system - always got my stuff next day.

Yep. The logistical support is absolutely amazing.

We can get just about any part that is CONUS within two days. The dealerships maintain a sizable stock of parts, while Cat has regional parts warehouses around the country, plus the big one in Morton, IL. Depending on the time I order a part it can be overnighted to us...plus if the need is critical, parts can be pulled right off the assembly line and sent to us, or they can be obtained from other Cat dealerships.

Thanks! I'm planning on getting a set of SAE wrenches and a few other things for my home box, I'm getting ready to start restoring this old Cat 12E blade and thought it'd be cool to use some Cat tools on it in the process!

Heck you can rebuild it wearing cat boots, shirt, and hat. Then wipe your hand off with Cat hand wipes. There is not much they haven't thrown there name on. Every time I pick up parts I am amazed at all the impulse buy items they have in the glass case.

I have a couple.
The back row are 13/16 to 1" but are 3/4" drive.

There are no brand markings on any of them. Just a CAT part number and size.
Only the screwdriver has Caterpillar on it.

Some of you may own caterpillar tools and not know it. Not all caterpillar tools have CAT or caterpillar stamped on them. I have a 3/8 drive swivel socket set, six drawer tool box and a gear puller that have nothing but a part number and USA stamped on them. If you google the part numbers it will take you to CAT tools. Less than a year ago I watched a 3/4 drive socket set sell on eBay for less than $100. He just had them described as USA. I emailed him and asked for the part number of the 1 1/2, googled it and it was a caterpillar tool. Happy hunting

I've got a bunch of CAT tools and misc stuff because I spent many years in a Cat dealership. Tools were easy to order, came in the next day, warranty wasn't an issue even if slightly (or extremely) abused and they just took a little out of my check each week to pay for my tool account.

Bottom line, they were easy to buy so I did.

Some of the "impulse buy" items are pretty dam good IMHO. Ive got a set of leather sneakers with "composite" toes thatve Ive worn daily for four years now which I consider VERY impressive bc I normally wear out shoes in about a year, maybe year and a half. After all that time the crazy part is that they still look good, are comfortable, and have a decent amount of tread on the soles.

I've also got quite a few Cat tools of my own including a late 30s-early 40s "Cat Serviceman's Toolkit" box thats rebranded Blackhawk.

This is my favorite CAT ratcheting screwdriver, P/N 9U-7291, same as the Williams WRS-1 but black rather than that ugly Williams blue/green.

Bump. Anyone have or have links to a Cat hand tools catalog from the mid 80's +/- 5 or so years? Back when they had the split C logo. Specifically looking for pages on the smaller snap on KRA tool boxes.

I have seen that stuff from dealers and its pretty good and priced reasonable considering the source. John Deere sells a lot of that stuff, I am not sure about all the branding and some of it looks to be knock offs but the price on most of it is rather fair.

I got lots of CAT rebranded stuff. It's a lotto. Av pulled SnapOn sets right out of CAT boxes.

When I worked for Mansour they gave me the 130+ summit cat set with SnapOn chest. Most was ****-On, Ratchets are Williams with 36 tooth internals. The Wrenches where all CAT branded with exception of the 4 ways.
