I do commercial refrigeration so I am familiar with dry nitrogen I have been asked by a customer to charge a rather large shock absorber on an off road dump truck. It calls for 1000 psi. My question is are there any other components that require more pressure than that so I only buy one regulator. In other words should I get a regulator that goes to 1000 or 2000 psi?

We charge hyd. Accumulators on our hyd. Rock drill hammers in the 1150 range, our regulators may be different, 2 gauges, 1 that shows you how much nitrogen is in the bottle and 1 that shows you what you are adjusting the pressure too, the bottles usually come with around 2000 psi in them, the gauges on my regs. In my service truck are 0-3000, but I could change them with whatever I need.
