I'm looking for caulk that can be used in the winter when temps are in the 20's and 30's. It needs to be available in a Lowes or Hundred Dollar Depot. Doesn't matter what color.
Any suggestions?

I have had success with Lexel. Keep it warm before using and tape a hand warmer to it while using it. It dries clear and is paintable.

OSI quad is the best caulking on the market!!!
Take paint thinner and put it on a rag. wet your finger with it and smooth out the caulking bead. It really makes a difference! Don't forget to lay the rag out flat to dry!

Im a general contractor of 22 years. I will not use the GE silicon II ever again. I have the same issue every time I use it. It won't "tool" correctly! It's like the exterior layer dries instantly and smears! And yes, I know how to caulk!

OSI quad, (solvent based), available at Lowes & HD

Hmmmm,..... Looks, 'n sounds like the Geocel 2300 that I buy at commercial roofin' supply houses,....

A tri-polymer that sticks to anything, forever, 'n is unbelievably flexible, also pretty much forever,...

The 2310, brushable mix is also pretty handy stuff,...
'ell,... I've been dippin' tool handles in it for a better grip, much like plasti-dip,...

When my parents had their house sided in December, it was colder than a well digger's ***. The Amish used OSI and left the case of caulk inside till they needed it.

I believe it's available at Menard's locally and it shows on HD site. Both places can be shipped to home.

I've used this product http://ecobondadhesives.com/ecobond-products/ in very cold weather and it's actually rated for these type of temperatures. It was very easy to work with and the non-toxicity is a huge plus for me. You can order it through Amazon or buy direct. It's also available in several other formulations, I'm going to give the Bathroom caulk a try in the next couple days.

Thanks guys for all the advice and CNGsaves thanks for the link. My wife and I laughed our *** off reading that topic.

I needed this caulk for the outside of my Paintbooth door jams and trim. My HD didn't have anything that they would recommend so I decided to side up to the jam and will caulk it in the spring. To help seal my positive pressure booth I'll turn on the heat in the both and caulk the jam from the inside before I hang the door trim so I can start using it this winter.
Thanks again for your help and humor. [emoji23]

I'll never use anything but Alex plus, the clear version. (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) I hate their white stuff, it's not even the same. The clear takes a long time to dry, it's white when it's still wet, gets clear as it dries. So smooth ,creamy, and rubber like, never gets hard sticks like crazy. I have some that's 9 years old around my windows and doors, no issues.
