caulk garage edges?

I'll be resurfacing my tiny single car garage in the next day or two. I am wondering if I should caulk around the edges of the garage first? In the pic below the white is the wall and the red/splotchy area is the garage floor. there is a tiny gap that runs around the entire floor. Should I be filling that in with some sort of caulk maybe? Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Love this forum!

I did when I put down my epoxy floor. I am glad I did. Looks 100% more finished now rather than seeing a gap.

I used DAPP concrete culking. I went through two entire tubes of it on my 440sq ft pairemeter of it.

Before epoxy. Since they are right at the edge and no traffic there isn't really a concern for it to come off... But from what I was told it's epoxy safe so one doesn't have to worry about the epoxy not sticking to it or chipping off of it.

X2... I used the same stuff with good results. I also used it to caulk the troweled in grooves where the saw cuts were later added. I used a caulking tool to put a nice smooth radius in.

Looks great once coated.

Yes, these men are on point. The Dapp concrete version is great for a perimeter gap.
Do it a few days prior to coating and you may have to hit it 2x if it shrinks.

You can jamb some backer rod in prior to filling and you will have less shrinkage/slump.

This is only a solution around the perimeter. It has no strength and therefore should not be used out in the open where you have traffic.

Yes, do it. I caulked at the gap between the wooden bottom rails of wall framing and the concrete, before the walls went up. Helps with both climate control and insect control.
