I installed my epoxy floor last fall and love it. I need to put some caulk of some kind at the wall and the floor. I have seen the SikaFlex self leveling product mentioned but I am concerned that would be too runny to be used in this scenario.

The gap is about 1/8th of an inch with small variation.

The Sika caulk is a good inexpensive caulk. If you are concerned about the caulk falling into the joint and sinking, fill them first with sand , leaving about 3/8" of depth. The sand will act as a foundation to support the caulk, leaving you a nice level filled surface.

I really like the sand idea. Thanks.

...leaving you a nice level filled surface.

Just to make sure I was clear...this joint is between the floor and wall, not two flat surfaces. A self leveling product is ok in this scenario?

I used the concrete caulk at the seam of my floor and wall before putting down my swisstrax floor. Worked for me.

I have a joint by my front stairs like pictured above and I'm going to use the sand that hardens when you run water over it. The stuff they use for pavers.

Somewhere our conversation about this broke down. Although you only have an 1/8" gap I would use backer rod just to be safe. Also it tends to come out looking nicer. Then I would use the DAP or Sika product. You DO NOT want self leveling for this case
