The instructions state: "Before using all models of dial torque wrenches, it is strongly suggested to cycle/operate them 3 times at full scale in the torque direction in which they will be used."
The torque wrench comes with a certificate from the factory where they test the calibration. There are three tries with results for CW and CCW torquing. Wouldn't this count as the 3 times at full scale... Also the wording from the instructions seems to imply, to me, that one chooses whether the wrench will be used as a CW or CCW wrench. Can't it be used as both?
I'd ask CDI but they don't seem to return emails. I'd just do what they asked but I can't think of anything offhand to left-hand torque to 175 ft-lbs..
