cdx plywood on walls?

Hey guys. I can get a very good deal on 3/4 cdx plywood for $20 a sheet. But. Ot sure if it is wise to install then on my garage walls interior. Any comments on this?

the at least monthly discussion on here, ply vs OSB...
by all means. use it. unless you need a fire rating then you need drywall

It depends on whether you like the look of CDX.

In my opinion, if the $20 was less or the same as 1/2' CDX go for it. It will be a little more work putting it up and there really won't be an advantage.

I just walked past a bunk of 5/8 BCX sanded pine, 5 ply, $24.99 ea. Looks a lot better plain, or ready for paint or stain. Tough too. Used it on one garage floor (3/4) and another garage int walls (5/8).

It's easy for me to spend your money, but think it's worth it.
