Peebs,

Nice examples.

Did you know that the first three digits of the forged-in code (H2XXX) just behind the pivot on each handle is the model number?

Here is a pair of circa 1942-1945 H-26 CEE TEE CO pliers, which are the 6” variety, with codes H2624 and H2616.

They were Crescent’s economy line. The high end line bore the "MoToR KiT" brand marking, and model number G2XX.

My Father wore out some old pliers and finally when I was rather young in the late 40s he bought a pair of new CeeTees. They have always meant PLIERS to me. Early 60s when I was in the army I bought a new pair of 8 inch CeeTees from the PX(post exchange) Still have them plus some others I bought used.
