ceiling and lights. IM A NEWBIE

my name is Lee and im located in arkansas. I just had my 30x50 pole parn Garage finished yesterday. 1st I ordered 10 4ft led work lights that are 2400 lumens each. Is that enough? 2nd i want to cover the exposed trusses and i dont want to put your typical plywood. I think i want to do old tin or roof metal for the ceiling so i can put blow in insulation. Any suggestions would help

Check out BJs wholesale if you have one, or order them online. 4500 lumen, $74/pair, but my garage lights up like a stadium. Durable too, because it looked like UPS drug them down the highway. the box ends are not taped, so they were wipe open, hardware hanging out, etc. But they work fine. I'm just trying figure if I can flush mount one. I believe they use to come with pre-drilled holes.

That may be enough light but hard to say. Its easy to add keyless plastic or porclin fixtures and simple led bulbs.

Many people use metal ceilings. In fact you may be able to get a farmer to pay you to take down old buildings to get some nice rustic tin.

Doesn't sound very sturdy to me. Have u thought of decking your ceiling with 1/2" maybe and then your decorative ceiling over that. You would then have something sturdy enough to hang lights or whatever on.

guys thinks for all the help. the lights I bought are from sams, there Honeywell. They were on sale for 299 a 10pk. I might just go ahead and buy another pack. I like the idea of old rustic chicken house tin for the roof. Im not worried about the roof having any weight on it. has anyone seen the rustic tin look and if so send pics. and regguy1 that is an amazing shop you have there.
