Ceiling fan help

I installed a honeywell ceiling fan remote control system. Now after the lights are on for 20 min. they start to flicker on and off and slowly flicker faster. This happens whether the fan portion is running or not. Ive double and triple checked the wiring connections now im lost. Any help will be appreceiated

is it connected to a dimmer ?

Yes it has a dimming option through the remote and canopy receiver the original wall switch was not a dimming switch.

What type of bulbs are you using?

Regular clear bulbs.

Some of the remotes don't like CFL bulbs. So, that's not your problem.

If you are not using CFL's then my guess is it is either a loose wire that separates as your incandescent bulbs heat up or it is a bad dimmer unit.

Hmmm thanks for all the info. Im going to pull the receiver out this weekend and just leave it on the switch for now.
