Okay this one is weird.... Have a ceiling fan in my sons room that every night at 8:31 pm it flickers and flashes off and on for just a couple of seconds and then is fine the rest of the time. This happens like clockwork every single night at 8:31 pm. The ceiling fan has a built in LED light that is not a replaceable bulb like other fixtures. Ceiling fan has a built in dimmer and a standard switch on the wall. I can turn on all the lights in the house and it still happens with no flicker from other lights. There are no timers of any sorts anywhere in the house.

Fan is a Kichler Model 35157 purchased from Lowe's when we built the house.

All of our lights in the house are LED bulbs with the exception of the one in our shower. House built in 2017. No other lights flicker or do this. I have another ceiling fan (different brand) with the same style LED module with no issues.

Ideas?

Do you have some sort of load shedding device from your power company that turns the a/c or water heater on and off at specific times?

Water heater in NG and I am not aware of such a device. Cold enough here that the AC has not run in a while.

Obviously, your house is haunted.:bounce:

That's weird.

Is there something on a timer somewhere on that circuit?

Maybe the power company is doing something, and that LED light is more sensitive than the other lights in your house?

I have an issue with my WIFI like that. At 2AM, I lose my connection for about 30 seconds. I assumes it's something being done by the cable company.

So after googling "load shedding device" it returned the Generac Automatic Smart Transfer Switch w/Power management (Service disconnect) that looks like the one we have for our the Whole home generator we are having installed in the future. Had the transfer switch done when the house was built but do not have NG generator installed yet. Guessing this could be the cause of it?

I will check the model number of it to see if it has load shedding like this one does... https://www.electricgeneratorsdirect.com/Generac-RXSW200A3/p77435.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwguDeBRDCARIsAGxuU8bWyaxh9VSe1-6ba8JwajR7-70uYILXcX8o9nSs5Flc30zXr7nM2UwaAkRpEALw_wcB

Makes sense. Is it setup to kick in at a specific time each day?

There is no generator attached to it yet and once I get the model number I can look and see. I am sure it has a timer when to run the generator for the self test.
