Ceiling fan or wall fan?

I have a pretty standard 2 car garage, 20x20 with no windows. I'd like to make working in the summer a bit more bearable. I'm considering the popular 60" industrial ceiling fan from Home Depot, and this 30" oscillating wall fan from Northern Tool. I only have 9ft ceilings, but I would have no obstructions with the ceiling fan in the rear center of the garage. The oscillating fan would be mounted on the rear wall in the center about 12-18" from the ceiling. The ceiling fan seems to have the edge a bit on output, but I'm thinking the wall mounted fan will be a little less obtrusive and I can have it pointed towards whichever side of the garage I'm working on, or enjoy the fact that it oscillates. Price isn't really much of a consideration, especially since I'd end up wanting to purchase a wireless remote for the ceiling fan which closes the price gap a bit.

I'm in same boat. Getting two oscillating--one for each back corner. Then a mini split.

I use this fan from Home depot (except mine is black). It blows a ton of air and I can aim it where I want. I have a small attached garage and the big fans just take up too much room for me.

Days like today (95+) it only moves the hot air around, but it still helps.

I think I may try borrowing one of those from my folks. They used it to dry off the carpets after they were cleaned. Do you aim it directly where you're working?

Most of the time yes...aim it right on me wherever I am.
