Questions on ceiling fans. I have a 40x36 detached garage/shop.
Would a "big ***" style fan be the best for air movement? I notice that these are rated at around 14k cfm. or would a couple smaller say commercial 56" fans work as good or better with less money?

Wondering if anyone has options and experience with these larger say 96" fans and if their worth the money?

I have a 40 by 60 and contacted Big *** fans - they recommended a commercial fan (doesn’t look like the ones they advertised) and the price was insane. I’m still using a couple of Northern Tool floor fans. At least I can move them around to get the air where I need it.

I was actually looking at big air fans which Home Depot sells for around 600 which is still a lot for a fan.

in Raleigh, NC I also have a 60x40 shop, stick built...floor to ceiling with spray foam.
I have 2 Home Depot 60" fans ($50 ea.) running 24x7x365.
they have run full time for 12 years now.
interior temps range from 55 to 80 with no HVAC .
spray foam is the winning factor

I bought two 10' diameter fans from Home Depot. Cost was about 300 each but they are the same style of slow DC motor air pushers like big *** fans but without the $5,000 price tag.

I have a 30'x40' shop with a 60" fan and it works great pulling the hot air from the ceiling, X2 on insulation being a huge factor. Make sure its reversible.

Link? I see some 120" fans on their website but the cheapest one is $400.

I ask because I'm interested in getting one.
