I'm looking for a new project and turned my attention to the ceiling of the garage. It is a typical 2-car suburban detached garage. Concrete block walls are already finished. Slat wall installed, enough lighting and storage. Torpedo heater used when needed, lately only if I need to do some general automotive repair during the winter months. May consider some insulation, but not sure its necessary for my usage. Next spring planning a new floor option.
But the ceilings are just open unfinished wood rafters. I've always loved the black exposed ceiling look and wondered if anyone has done this and what tools I should consider having on hand should I move forward. Assuming best to use a Pneumatic spray gun as opposed to a roller?
What other things should I consider before tackling this type of job?
Added a picture for reference.
