Ceiling Height for RV/Fifth Wheel Storage

Looking for input on ceiling height for RV/Fifth Wheel Camper storage. We have a 5th wheel camper with a height of ~13'-2", I want enough height to be able to inspect and do any maintenance/repairs with the camper in the shop. I was initially thinking 16' height, but the more I think about it, I want to be able to move on the roof without belly crawling, so now i am leaning towards 18' interior height. What does everyone think?

Realistically anything short of standing upright..... just drag it outside for those few occasions would be my suggestion.

Mine is 16’. I’m able to do everything I need on my 13’1” 5th wheel. But I do need to duck under the trusses but I have 8ft truss spacing. If I were designing a perfect building, I’d have 8’ truss spacing with the trailer parked centered between two trusses. That way there would be side rails for walking on top.

Mine is 16', coach measures slightly under 13' @ 12'8" and I can work on the roof of the coach comfortably with being slightly hunched over. Replaced my skylight earlier this spring and it was nice to have the ability to work without just crawling around. Annual sealant checks are also quick and easy. If I were to need to do a lot of work on the roof or was planning on being on the roof more than a couple times a year and wanted to stand upright I would go with 20' ceiling heights. Sixteen feet is as high as I could go as my shop couldn't be any taller in overall height than my house.

You must not be very tall. 16' ceiling, coach is 12' 8". That's only 3' 4" or FORTY INCHES of clearance.
Even if you are only 5' tall, you still have to hunch over more than "slightly".

I'm 6'2" so not exactly short but I can walk around on the roof hunched over and not have to crawl around on my hands and knees. And the 12'8" is to the top of the A/C units.

Thanks all. As long as I don't have to move around on hands and knees, I'll be happy. The 13' is the highest point, so top of the ac unit, walking surface is probably 12' 4".
