Wonder how white mobile home skirting would work on a garage ceiling? Its durable, light weight and bright white and reasonably priced. Any ideas??

It would work, as will vinyl soffit, but I feel queasy about using plastic overhead in a shop where I will be welding and grinding. If it ever caught fire for whatever reason, look out!, poison fumes and all. I used the one foot celotex tiles that are stapled in place in a previous shop, as I could put up the ceiling with my equipment in place, without any sanding or painting. The tiles can be purchased for as low as 52 cents a square foot, and provide some acoustic damping for grinding operations, and provide some fire resistance, along with some insulation value.
