I have been watching some videos on ceiling panel liner. The ones I saw they did not add any 2x4's on the bottom of the ceiling joist. They just screwed to to the bottom of the joist. My joist are 4'4" apart. Would the tin flex in that length? Also, what kind of trim do you use for the ceiling to wall transition? The only thing I could find at Menards was J channel. thanks

My trusses are 4', I dont think its a problem. Spans it without any flex.

I installed the ceiling first, then just butted J channel up to it for the walls. Saves J channel, and you don't have to try to slip a 16' piece of liner into the J channel by yourself! lol!

Theres two pics, one didn't load right.

My joists are also 4' OC....I had a combination of 16' and 8' panels cut for mine. Sagging is not an issue. I have 14+ inches of cellulose laying on it too.

But I did it opposite of bullnerd. I did J channel for the ceiling panels and butted my OSB to the J channel after that. I used a sheetrock lift for the panels and did it myself...was fairly easy.
