I've got a 32 X 60 pole type building that is un-insulated. I'm looking to put a metal ceiling in using the same material as the side and roof and blow in insulation on top of this. The trusses are 5' apart. Do I need to install 1 x 4 strips every 2' under the trusses for support to connect the metal to? Or can I just go across the trusses with the metal (ridges crossing trusses)? Didn't know if the metal would bow between the trusses without the extra support.
