Ceiling Treatments? Pics?

Does anyone have any pics of interesting ceiling treatments for their garages? I have grown sick of the bare drywall and I can't bring myself to paint it without fixing the ripped seams...and crappy nailing dents. I am tempted to cover it with something more interesting since it's going to be a bit of a job regardless. Anyone have pics of anything cool?

I installed vinyl soffit in my old garage. I sold the property, and have no pics. Just thought i'd mention it. Best of luck with your ceiling.

Try a search in the gallery of corrugated or metal ceilings. Also saw someone here that did the ceiling in tongue & groove pine...that looked really nice.

Thanks guys, I'll do some searching. My dad actually did the tongue and groove pine in his garage, and while it looks nice, it's a little less industrial/modern than the look I was going for. Metal would be a better fit.

As an alternative to corrugated, I've often thought about using sheets of light gauge sheet metal sealed with a satin or matte clear. Maybe you can talk to a local metal shop about setting aside pieces that have character (unique pickling, maybe some surface rust, etc.) that may not be desirable for a production part for a different customer, but could work for your application. Maybe even make them into 24"x24" (or similar sized) tiles from leftover drop from other projects. Kind of a modern, industrial spin on the traditional tin roof tiles.

Maybe something like this, but not embossed...
