I know this has been touched on, but I would like to see more ideas if they are out there.
I have a 40X40 pole building with 15' ceilings. I need to insulate and put ceiling and wall liner in. I plan on blowing in ceiling and batts in walls.
I was going to use steeling siding on the inside, but the price has gone a little crazy, so I am looking for plan B. Plus, I understand the cellulose is no good against steel. But it is cheaper. So any thoughts on the type of blow in are welcome too.
I have looked at using 1/4" osb and painting,
Using 1/4" osb and then white wallboard on top of that
Foam board under wall board
Exterior siding sheets, wood with grooves in it.

This is not a show garage, but I would like it to be bright and easy to clean and durable.
Any thoughts?

I wonder what the thinking is with cellulose against steel?? I've seen it done in pole buildings alot??

Yes, the price of steel panels has gone nuts, Not sure about OSB, haven't checked lately. I would go heavier than 1/4" though as it seems to have a tendency to sag

Have you finished the ceiling and insulation? Next week I am having a 32x30 pole building put up. The building supplier is putting up the shell only, I get to do all the finishing work. I was considering blown-in in the ceiling, batts in the walls, finished with drywall. Also considering steel for the ceiling finish.

What type of dragster do you have in there? I have a 'slightly used' comp car going in mine.
