I bought two 8' LED fixtures from lowes ($90ea). In my mind I was going to install it with the far end over a blue recessed 4" work box from the old single fixture. When I got down there I realized the stud was offset (which i should have know it would be). I started having second thoughts about using toggle bolts though sheet rock. These things are on the heavy side. The light would also be directly over a car I can't have damaged.
So how do i get this thing on the stud and still connected to this work box? Flex conduit. I can't find any covers that go from recessed 4" to conduit?
Also the fixture doesn't have enough wire to go from the driver in the center to the end of the fixture. What gauge might these be? Using my wire strippers get me close enough to the right gauge. Its pretty thin wire.
Help would be great! Id love to get this thing up today.
