What are the benfits of drywaling the ceiling? I am kind of on the fence about doing it. I told my builder not to worry about it, if I change my mind I'll do it later. Does it matter either way?
I assume you're asking about whether to drywall the ceiling in a detached garage.
I am onboard with this too. If the carpenter/builder is going to put up the dry wall on the walls now it will be lots cheaper in the long run to have it done now rather than have him come back later.Hanging drywall on the ceiling made my garage space feel twice as bright, without the addition of any other lighting. I was amazed how much difference it made. In the scheme of things, it isn't that expensive, but makes the space both nicer looking, and more usable I feel. It's a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.
