I've considered looking for a used Car-O-Liner pull machine or similar, minus the towers, but even an old used one is spendy. I've got the resources for big steel at work, and can get one built. Has anyone re-created one and able to use the rocker panel pinch clamps? All I need is to make one able to hold the car ('62 Fairlane) steady and straight, while I weld new floor pans and front rails in. And double as a set-up table for a truck frame that I'm building. I think it's safe to say an old Model A or Deuce set-up table would be too small. Anyway, just looking for more ideas.

^ ^ ^ Old thread... but more info might help...
Here's another alternative: 2 x pairs of Unibody Pinch-weld Clamps... and a rotisserie.

Use galvanised pipe with "DIY locking collars" for cross-tubes...

Fabricate a jig to mount cross-tubes & pinch-weld clamps...
The jig (secondary chassis) mounts the body-shell to the rotisserie.
If you're doing quarter panel repair; this also reduces the risk of "chassis droop" during your "build."

Used without the sub-frame, it's also a "Car-dolly" to make bodyshells mobile in the shop.

This is what I ended up going with, except 5x5 sq. tube. Mounting it on a rotisserie seems feasible. Thanks everyone.
