How does one do the cement without walking all over the pex?
details: 36 x 44 floor. pex 8" o.c.
To get the cement to back of the garage it either has to be pumped in thru a hose or wheeled... if I staple the pex down to the foam then bridge rebar in 18" square... Can you walk on the rebar without crushing the bridge? Do you walk between the rebar and not on the pex 8.oc.???
Alternatively, If I put the pex 8"oc on top of rebar 18" squares. But how do you step without being ontop of the pex? (carefully?)
If I put the pex onto the rebar and try to lift to center during pour, would the air in pex make it lift or the weight make it sink? And how do you lift it if standing on it... I guess you stand between... Is that possible if it is 8" oc .. ( seems possible).
Which is heavier... a pound or rocks or a pound of feathers?
Do you cut some plywood strips and place that on top of the rebar to get around (if pex stapled to foam)?
How do you do it? How do you get the cement back there without crushing everything?
Any pics or pointers to other links appreciated!
