Anyone use resurfacer to fill cracks and miscellaneous indents in their garage before using epoxy or acrylic sealer? The garage I'm doing was poured in 1947 and has dog paw marks, names engraved, and quite a few cracks. I've cleaned it using concrete cleaner and degreaser, and I plan on using H&C Acrylic Sealer, both a color and their Clear 23 as a top coat.

Tomorrow I plan on using resurfacer to get a good clean foundation for the sealer, has anyone done the same?

Just be sure that the concrete wasn't paint or covered or something else before cause for the H&C concrete sealer, they told me that it won't adhere if the concrete has been painted.

I used a EDCO floor grinder to remove my old sealer. Local tool rental joint had it for $100 for the day. I don't see why you can't apply sealer if the floor has been painted before?? The floor grinder I used took everything down to bare concrete. Maybe you know something I don't?

The only paint on the floor are drops from paint jobs over time. Quite a few of them but they chip off easy enough, and I'll grind off the residue. My post was more aimed at asking about concrete/cement resurfacer and if anyone has used it. My friend has, and says it works great so I'm having him help me today.
