Centaur Forge is a Blacksmith Supply Company.

http://www.centaurforge.com/

They used to import anvils made in Sweden by Kohlswa.

That looks like it might be a 56 Kg. 123 Lb. A4 Type anvil. Current cost for a new one is 7,880 SEK, which about $1,196. That price may not include shipping but you'd also be getting a brand new anvil. A 165 Lb Ridgid Peddinghaus anvil can be purchased for a little less money.

Yeah, like neophyte said, that 56 is the number of Kilos. 56 x 2.2 = 123.2 lbs.

I've only seen two used Kohlswa anvils sell before. One was a 75 lb for $75. The other was a 119 lb for $150.

I dunno how fantastic they are or whatever. Not an anvil guy, myself.

I think Kohlswa anvils were/are considered very good anvils, but there are other excellant anvils available for sale currently. The Ridgid/ Peddinhaus anvils are forged and made in Germany.

There's Nimba Anvils that sells a their 120Lb Titan anvil, which currently costs $975.

That Kohlswa anvil looks like a heavier shoeing anvil for farriers. A 125 Lb. Cliff Carroll shoeing anvil is around $540.

There are other USA made anvils available for less as well.

I might be wrong, but that looks like a farrier's anvil. (The guy that puts on horse shoes)...

It is not a big anvil and that guy is dreaming about the price.
