i need a set of tools to carry in my UTV in case something needs to be repaired while tooling around (no pun intended). i have craftsman in the garage, but don't want to spend a lot of $ for this purpose. looked on the harbor freight site and saw a set for $50 that has everything i need. it's made by 'Central Forge.' anybody have any experience with this brand? TIA (BTW: i searched the 'HF Pass/Fail' thread and nothing came up).

I do have some HF tools. You get what you pay for. They work OK for light use. My 2 cents, get something that you would not be afraid to use in any application.

Central Forge is one of Harbor Freight's brands. They will probably be OK, but I'd rather do like lockpicker said and hit a couple of pawn shops or flea markets and get some used ones. Or get some Stanley from Wal-Mart. Sears carries the cheaper Evolv line, also.
