Century USA

Good afternoon.

Found this little wrench at the local Habitat Restore.

Can't find any history of this tool maker here, Google or on Alloy Artifacts.

Appears a lot of this came from Japan more recently but this is clearly marked USA.

Century / Century Tool Co. Inc., Route One and Hulmelville Ave., Penndel, PA 19047 / owned by Triangle Corp. (1973) / contract supplier for military and government / (pre-1953 example stamped "PHILA. PA. U.S.A." - another pre-1953 example stamped "CTCO" /

Discussion regarding Century and possible connection to GILLER Tool Company of Dallas, Texas STARTS HERE

There are about half a dozen posts showing examples of both Century and Giller which appear too similar to be dismissed as coincidence.

"ineffible" was the term @Private Lugnutz used.

I'm at a loss on this one - was not able to find these "FSN" numbers on these (completely unrelated) items which are also BRANDED "Century":

and the more I think about this, the more I think that Triangle wasn't involved with any of this stuff I've posted here or the other thread - the "FSN" federal stock numbers go back much earlier than 1973.
