Certiflat welding tables? (DIY Kits)

Saw this on youtube this morning. Looks like a great idea and the prices aren't bad either. Here is a video on the assembly process. Looks like a great way to get your feet wet for little money.

I guess we don't have many fabricators here.

I would have bought one of these over building my table. These tables are square with fixture and alignment holes all over to make truing your project easy as pie.

i have one , 42x36 block with the leg and caster kit , along with add on wing and 6 of their angles. I have a small amount of the strong hand tooling but want more.

havent used it alot as im still finishing the entire shop up

I still might build one. They do custom builds, so I wonder what a 4x8 would be worth.

No way you can pound on this fab table like you can on plate. I see this getting beat up way faster of used as a general purpose fab table.

For me this is a fab only , non beat table. Supposed to be flat to .015. It is flat for sure once all tightened, tacked,then welded. The interior support makes it much stronger than 1/4".

I have a general purpose bfh table I am building for the rough work. I have a 5'×4'×1" plate I plan to use and install my big vise on.

It's for small fab projects and would do 99% of the project that DIY do with out beating it to death.

I hope you have a big shop. My last table was a 4x8 and it ended up collecting **** like a coffee table. My next one will be 2x3 or 2x4.
