CH nailing kit at Costco

Costco has this kit for $170.

This will be my first nail gun. I would be using these to fame in a small living area in my barn and for various smaller projects. They will not see continuous use.

Price looks good, and Costco has a good return policy if they turn out to be lemons.
Any opinions on the brand or this kit?

I've been using a CH framing gun for about ten years without any problems, not even the first nail jam. My CH gun cost maybe $300 back when I bought it but looks just like the one in the picture. The price listed seems mighty cheap for three nailguns!

Seems like a reasonable deal. I've been using a HF framing nailer that cost about $90. It suits my needs just fine, and doesn't jam any more (or less) than a name-brand unit.

If I could have got some finish nailers in the deal for a few bucks more, I would have jumped on it.

I got that kit from Costco a month or 2 ago and havent had any problems so far. They seem perfect for someone who wont be using them every day as a work tool.

No experience with the Costco kit.

I do have a full set of the stanley (bostitch) guns and highly recommend them. Usually pick them up from amazon when they have the $15 off and free shipping. You can get the framing nailer and one finishing nailer for about the price of the Costco kit.

About 2 years ago I bought a small CH compressor and finish nailer kit at Costco. It looks like the nailer is the same as the 2 1/2" 16g finish nailer that’s in the 3 gun kit. I haven't used it everyday but I have shot 2 or 3 hundred nails and never had a problem with it. No jams and it has adjustable depth setting.
