It says at the top of the page "Gift certificates are currently 10% off. Refund is issued after the order comes in".

At the very top of the page it says you get a refund when the order is placed. I had a little snag going through the ordering process and sent them an email, it got stuck after entering my payment info. My card account shows a pending transaction though.

I've read less than positive reactions regarding chadstoolbox, but my own experience when i ordered for the first time recently was positive. Deliveries can take a while if products are backordered in Germany, i knew that going in and was in no rush to get my order. After a few weeks not having heard of it i contacted them (around 11pm) to ask about the status, and they had one plier in backorder which was holding the rest of the package up. They did have a (more expensive) chrome finish version of the same plier in stock which they offered up instead if i did not want to wait for the black finish. I said sure, and the whole email chain was settled by 11:30pm, and had the order in my hands a few days later, with a free upgrade to chrome.

Worst tool retailer on the planet!!

I don't know if they are the worst, but definitely bad, judging from my one experience in buying from them. I won't repeat all the irritating details since I've mentioned it on here before, but let's just say they aren't likely to ever get another purchase from me.

Same here, their customer service is terrible and my order took almost 2 months to arrive (NWS tools). One of the tools came with a chunk of the handle missing because the idiots shipped it in an envelope instead of a box, the handle was sticking out of the package when I received it. I called them and explained what happened, the rep asked if I could not put electrician's tape to cover it up and fix it? seriously?

I should report that this was resolved the same day. Fraud prevention kicked in on Chad's end, most likely as i'm traveling and placed the order from abroad.

Yeah i'd agree. I won't purchase anything from that retailer either. Lets say they give em away for free? Maybe

That's too bad. I was going to purchase from here but I definitely won't after reading this and then checking their ratings.
