Chain Drive Extensions, Does anyone else have one?

I am looking for something like this to put in the steering of my street rod. I am using old damaged tools for linkages, levers and such and thought this would be cool for the steering. Unfortunately it is way to undersized to put into the steering and be safe. I need something to allow more footroom and clean up the engine compartment. By taking the steering wheel in almost flat then I can use this to drop the shaft straight down to the shaft goint to the steering sector. This tool gives me a lot of ideas I had not thought of before.

These are available again from a company other than Snap on.I saw a version advertised this week on the cover of the G2SEquipment catalog.Can't remember the manufacturers name but I can check when I get back to work tues.

The Tite-Reach looks to be a little more clunky than the bluepoint version but I still want one plus according to them its quite a bit more robust.

Looks like they only have a 3/8" version out right now.

59 bucks for the tite reach, doesn't seem bad. I wonder how long they'll be around if you happened to break one but...

Dont use one of those spanner devices, there will be way too much backlash

I need same for my custom Range Rover and I am just setting about designing one.
I only neet 4 1/2" offset which is less than any of the ones I have seen advertised
I will use a 1/2" pitch duplex chain I think usint 14T sprockets and a 12T tensioner
