I just yesterday received a breaker and a riveter I'd ordered from Bailey's and haven't had a chance to use either. However, looking them over, they appear to be quite robust and well-made.

I had read this brand is Italian, Tecomec, and when they arrived, the box says Made in China. Fingers crossed, China?, however as I said they appear to be well made.

It will probably be too expensive to justify for home use, but we used Oregon at the shops I worked at in the 1980s. I unfortunately made many hundreds of chains as the low man on the totem pole, not exactly fun, but I never had any issues with the equipment, which probably made thousands of chains over the years.

A few years back saw a roll of chain on clearance. In hindsight I should have bought it but even then I couldn’t justify the tools necessary for making my own.

why go through that expense? you would have to be making lots of chain to justify the expense of the tools and roll of chain.
This.

I've been buying Oregon chains for about $22 lately

Had pretty good luck lately on Amazon with Oregon chains. Some been 1/3 off. Ordered a couple and they were still USA made so ordered a stack.
