I was almost done sharpening my chain when I noticed a raker broken off. Should I keep that tooth sharp or dull it?

First, take this as a 'heads-up'/warning; clean and inspect the rest of the entire chain very thoroughly, especially in the damaged area; discard the whole chain if it is an 'off-brand' or any doubt - check the bar channel for any sign of a nick or deformation. Examine the exposed break surface. Try to find the cause.

If all good - One raker missing; sharpen as usual, you'll never know it in the log.

Always wear the proper protective equipment!!!!

What chain? Overall condition? Amount of wear? Intended use?
Husky or Oregon at about 70%. It was sharpened by someone else. I never knew how to sharpen before so I would buy one or two chains a year and just save the dull chains. I can sharpen now and am using up my old chains.
