Hahaha.

You wrote violation, singular. There's got to be nearly a dozen violations. :shocking:

Edit: Alchymist and I are on the same wavelength, I guess... :D

err...they left the insulation on for the electric fence? They did not size up for the voltage drop with a 100" run? There are more Violatons then I have fingers to count them all...look like a pretty temp set up for the winter...or a few months...at least I hope so. The worst on I saw was a cable installer that drilled thru a door and ran his cable thru it...some people's kids.

Wait, why did he stop at the light socket? I want to see the post and tube wiring feeding that. Wow, just wow. Can this be for real?

Nice new garage at an old house. Why no power to the new building? I guess I've read that a detached garage does not require power, but who does that?

I hope that guy is not a home inspector. "Some kind of wall cord..." See, he's got it all wrong. It's a fence cord.

I did that once. Drilled through a wall from a closet to mount a motion detector. Customer called back the next day. "Hey, why won't my bathroom door close?"

Yup. Pocket door.

Lmao, that's great. The amount of work they did to do all that was probably more than it would take to dig a trench and pull it through conduit properly.

This is outstanding. I came to this forum looking for words of wisdom so I don't do anything dangerous with the wiring to my garage. I see that I am already ahead of the curve.
