Hi everyone. First time post here. I am in the process of finally getting my garage set up as it should be and not just a giant storage area.

I know this is a loaded question, but looking for some thoughts on the Challenger CL10-V3 (aka Verysymmetric) vs the Mohawk System 1 lifts for my home garage. From a price point, I have budgeted enough to get the mohawk, but am concerned it may be not best suited for smaller cars? Typically speaking it would be to work on my BMW M3 track vehicle and the likes, as well as my daily driver, crew cab tundra but would like the option to be able to work on a 3/4 -1 ton diesel crew cab occasionally. It seems as if a lot of folks have concerns with 10k challengers and the likes with heavier trucks.

I have done quite a bit of searching and haven't seen many photos or posts of folks using the Mohawk System 1 symmetrical lifts with the smaller sedan and coupe style cars.

Any thoughts, experience or pics would be greatly appreciated.

I do not have experience with the Mohawk, but I do have a CL10-V3 Challenger. I have used it for picking up small cars and SUVs, my wife's Honda Odyssey, all the way to 4 door long bed trucks.

Your two end of spectrums with diesel crew cab dually and small sports cars are at the opposite end of the spectrum. A lot of lifts will do both, but neither very well(blocking required, to long of arms or can’t just plain reach proper pickup points)

I’d buy towards what you want to work on the most, and the concern of lifting a friends crew cab, well let him take that elsewhere to be worked on safely if your concerned about working on sports cars

My spo12ta will lift it all, excelling at crew cans but arm height and symmetrical design leaves smal sports cars with lots of screwing around to get into the air, most normal passenger cars are fine though... the lift excels in dump trucks and crew cabs

If you wanna do the both at the very best you need two different lifts....

I have a Mohawk System 1 and it is the BEST built lift out there and I looked at all of them. I have very heavy cars and also have raised much smaller cars with no problem.
