Here’s the short version. BendPak doesn’t have a local dealer/installer/servicer. Nearest one is 60 miles.
Challenger has a local dealer and the guy is very anti BendPak and very Pro Challenger (warranty part and payment issues is my take away) actually said he stopped selling and servicing any and all BendPak products.
I’m familiar with the differences, adjustable ramps and air release safeties..
Which air release may be a nice feature, but it’s not something I would need in my hobby setting. Plus a rod is easier to maintain (no homo) then solenoids and airlines.
Both cost about the same, but I feel myself being sucked into the nothing is better then BendPak marketing.
Challenger made in US? Build quality vs BendPak?
Something about local installation and service is a big pull to challenger to me.
