This my new challenger retail display I picked up traveling across eastern Canada and thanks to heelspur I got most of the 12 sockets for it and now that I’m home I have a large trade pile if anybody is interested

I wish I could get a better look at that ratchet. I have two challenger ratchets but neither look like that. What vintage is your ratchet.

It is a 1261 it’s not the right one for the board and I have three others but there round heads

Neat stuff. I have looked through my challenger stuff and no 1249. Looks like this is the extent of my challenger hoard

I have a Penens 1261 that looks virtually identical outside of the date. My Challenger ratchets could not be further from this design. One appears to be New Britain design. The other appears to be a Bonney design. I wonder how many manufacturers there were for Challenger ratchets?

I think the proto 5249 is equivalent. Challenger version not common.

They are rare I have the 1/2 version and the 1/4 both challenger by proto Canada just have never seen the 3/8
