Chamfer concrete slab edge

We had some good rains this past week, and I was reminded that I get some water leaking from the exposed edge of the slab.

Short version: the side where I get the leaks in used to be a wall, which was cut out to install a second door, so it runs across the high side of the sloped slab. I thought if I sloped is out to the outside edge, it will keep the water from hitting and running in under the door and corner.

I have used diamond blades on a grinder before, but wondered if anyone has another suggestion, because grinding makes a heck of a mess...

Get a dust shroud for your grinder and a bag for your vac.

You ever try the stone things on a handle? They make short work on corners. Less possibility of going too far. Grinder with diamond cup is very aggressive

Is your slab wider than your building or just a spot without a stem wall/course of block ?

Sorry guys--I was busier than heck yesterday... Thanks for the thoughts.

The area where is leaks is actually just where the garage door is--is is inset more than most doors, so there is a good 12" or more of the slab sticking out past the bottom of the door sloping the wrong way. It takes the right storm too, because there is a good overhang so it often stays dry when it rains...

HF grinder?-check. I bought one for these sorts of jobs--not sure how to get dust control on it.

Thinking about it this morning makes me think wrapping the bottom of the door and edges in that heavy floor protection paper and then using a mister while working should keep the mess under control...

How thick is this? Why not just cut it off? Or make sawcuts across it to channel the water to the side and away?
