hey guys bought a champion air comp model VR2-8 i belive it R10 pump any way we have completely rebuilt pump all new hp valves new lp valves honed cylinder walls pistons look good put new check valve on put all back together it does not pump up any faster then it did before we rebuilt it We to oil plug out while comp was running and noticed a lot of blow by in crank case the only thing we did not replace was piston rings we thought they looked good do you think rings are my problem everthing else looks good Thanks for any advice

Yes, rings are a likely problem. Your rebuild is opposite of what I usually do. I go for the rings first and every time. New rings cure a lot of ills. I am surprised you went to all that work and did not replace them.
