Champion blower and forge

I found this old forge in a barn and got it for $50. I was wondering if anyone out there might know a model on it. It says "champion blower and forge Co Lancaster pa" on the front it also has a "2"on the bottom of the pan. Those are the only markings I can see on it. Can't find anything but pics on the web.

Don't know much about forges, but I have a vise from C.B.& F., got it from my FIL who found it at one of his construction sites. Will try to get a pic and send.

I have heard them called a friction forge, but they are not in the 1920 champion catalog I have here in my office. On page 97, It has a #21 & a #22 that are similar and listed as "The Champion Bench Crank Forge". If your model is the one I think it is, it should have removable legs that pin together at the joint. My wife has one but it is hard to turn as I need to replace the leather friction pads. Call me at (574) 274-0633 if you want pictures of ours.

It does have removable legs that pin. They should also be bent. The legs were rusted to bad so I replaced them with 3/4 black iron pipe. It works ok but I would like to replace the friction plates on it. But I think they are rubber on mine not leather.

I am replying to a pretty old post regarding your Champion forge. I have the same forge and am seeking some advise. The forge is in good shape but there is a rubber bearing (I know that's not the right term) that comes in contact with the cranks small flywheel and spins the fan's drive shaft. That bearing is pretty sad and I do not know how to approach replacing it, have you tackled this?
