Champion Compressor Green

I picked up an old (at least it is younger than me) Champion R10 (not sure what version) 80 gallon compressor to use as a test load for a three phase generator project and it really needs some fresh paint. Does anyone know of a decent rattlecan paint that is in the neighborhood of their current green? I am also looking for a pdf teardown manual so if anyone can point me to one I would appreciate it.

I can't help on the paint color, try these. Are you building a rotary phase converter?

Thanks for the breakdown, The compressor head is a 1967 model so I figure a set of valves and rings might be in order. Is compressorpartsstore.com a good source?

I have a big rotary converter that I run my cnc machines with but I am going to build a digital converter so I need a test load that I am not afraid to hurt (3 phase motors are cheap around here).

The RPC is an American Rotary 15HP cnc rated converter. It consists of a big Baldor 1725rpm idler and a control box with a starting cap with a timer and a couple of big caps on the generated leg. Overall it is one of the best rotaries on the market and their prices are reasonable, the only downside is it is a rotary converter and the voltage on the generated leg can sag a little under heavy loads. Homemade units can also work well, but I was a little leery about hanging a 45K machine with an expensive and sensitive control on a cobbled together rig. With a little time and experimentation it can be done, but...
