I have a CPM vintage air compressor that my father bought in the 70's and it was vintage then...even though it worked he wanted it out of the garage so now I am looking to get rid of it but don't know the manufacture year...and I don't want to just strip it for the scrap yard...after contacting the company I was told by a representative not to use it because the tank might fail and even they were unsure of the manufacture date...any suggestions would be appreciated

It looks 2be a nice 1, but not so old that it has the riveted tank. oh kinda crummy pics without any brass tags that may be on it.

Post these photos in the vintage compressor thread. Some guys may be able to give you a date range. The guard ain't original i believe, loose it for better photo of that side.. Looks like its been worked on recently. What are your plans 4 it?
