Hello all, I am new to this site. Great site don't know why I didn't find it until now. I:bounce: have a Champion sparkplug scope that is not working properly. Does anyone know of someone who works on these.
Thanks

Is this one of those tools that look like what the doctor uses to look in your ears (lenses and lights) or is it actually an oscilloscope used to check proper functioning of the ignition system ?

Unless you have a lot of spare cash, my guess is the "someone who works on these" is going to be you. ;)

Capacitors tend to fail over time, short out, leak etc. You could start by replacing any that look fried, and see if that improves things.

What exactly is it doing wrong and which model is it?

What do you plan to do with it?

It is a model 2000. It only shows one vertical line on the scope rather than one line per plug. I would like to use it to check my plugs on an older chevy. I know there are easier ways to check plugs, but I like the old test equipment.
