Hi Guy's, I just picked up a Champion VR5-120 compressor, that looks to have been built around the mid 90's. Before I put it into service I want to adjust the drive belts.
From what I can see the belt guard has two hinges, one on each side. I just don't know how to open it. I feel really stupid, but is there a trick to opening these guards?
I know I can just unbolt the whole thing and remove it, but I would like to use the hinges to open it, as that it appears that it was designed for easy access.
Any help would be appreciated.
