Changing gear lube on Delta 28-303

I've been looking to see if this has already been answered. Pardon me if it has. Is there a fairly easy way to change the gear fluid on a Delta 28-303 band saw? I'm aware of the 1/2" street elbow and the square pipe plug... both of which I've removed... but it seems to me that the band saw needs to be tilted on its side for it to drain. Hope to gawd it's not almost out of fluid. I've wrestled this new-to-me beast into and out of the trunk of my Camry and it's HEAVY! I'd hate to have it get away from me if I tried to tilt it. Any tips would be appreciated.

There is a set screw drain plug in the bottom of the casting.

Excellent. Thanks. I'll try that next time. Today, I talked my 33 year old son into helping his dad.

Good thing I checked. Manual says the band saw holds 1.5 quarts of lube. There was only 2/3rds of a cup left.
