Changing Thread title

is there a way to change a thread title I started?

Click the EDIT button below the first post of your thread.

Then click the GO ADVANCED button below the post.

You should be able to edit the thread title in the title field.

Click SAVE CHANGES button below post.

That will change it in the thread, but will not change the index page. I believe that is a mod only function

You're right. Sorry about that, not very much help.

thx, It not worth doing that. Mods got enough going on without adding location on thread. I may just edit first post and put it there.
