I have seen where people change there titles in classifieds to show updated or new tools

can't figure it out

I know it is probably pretty obvious but I give up

Click on "edit"...............you can then do anything you want to your post, including dumping it without a trace.

I am thinking that you can only edit the reply portion of a thread but not the title once it is submitted. What may have been done is the thread deleted and a new one put in it's place. But then I also think that you can only delete a thread if no one has posted to it yet. Once a person replies to it, then it is there for good.

Then again, I may be wrong on all counts :lol_hitti

You can only edit the title for a couple minutes after it's posted,I went through this before.Usually if a title has been updated to say sold in the classifieds it's because someone PM'd Bull to do it or he noticed it was sold and did it to let everyone know. He's usually very helpful with things like that when you PM him.

Rewording Titles

See, I changed the title. You click "Go Advanced" instead of using the quick reply and it gives you the chance to change the title to whatever you want.

I think this works with quote also.

That only works with the title in the post the actual thread title does not change.

Yeah,I went thru this with another member one night for an hour or so before we figured out the OP can change the thread title for a couple minutes after the original post then it's stuck there forever unless a mod changes it.
