Just looked up the part, and it looks like this bI going to have toaring is a non servicable bearing that looks like it might be pressed into the hub.

I dont have the manual for this vehicle, thought it would be straight forward wheel bearing replacement.

Can anyone shed some light on this procedure.

Just realized I posted this under gen garage dis, sorry should of been under fee parking

Front or rear, disk or drum brakes? Rear is integral hub/bearing, front is not (according to my book.)

Kia is owned by Hyundai. I have the azera. Front is pressed. You can do some of the work yourself by pulling the passably off, but you will need to take it to a machine shop. I bought th part rock auto and had a local garage do the work. 139.00

CJ,
As much as we all hate to admit it, there are some times where it will probably be cheaper in the long run to pay a shop to do the job. If you do it yourself you will have to remove the entire spindle from the car and take it to a machine shop or maybe a regular repair shop to have the bearing removed and the new one pressed in. Just to give you an idea, we charge $75 to r&r the bearing. Most repair shops have some type of FWD hub tool kit that allows them to do the entire job on the car without removing the spindle so it might cost you less in the long run.

Do yourself a favor, do not cheap out on the bearing unless you want to do it again a year from now. Get one from the dealer or if you do get it from a parts store make sure it is their premium brand, BCA, Timken etc. Not the "white box" junk.

+1 for going with a better bearing like timken. 'cheap' bearings are junk and it's worth the few extra bucks not to have to fool with it again right away.
