Channel-Lock clearance at Home Depot

I was just at my local Home Depot and I saw they have some Channel-Lock pliers on clearance. including the 4 piece combo set for $23, which usually sells for about $50.

Included is the #526 6.5" Slip Joint Pliers, #337 7" Cutter, #3017 8" needle nose and #420 9.5" "Channel-Lock"

I think a lot of big box store sales and clearance are store-specific. Maybe based upon how well the items have been selling in that particular store? Unless it's a full brand sellout or something like that. Or updating models.
